Medical Assistance
We support people with albinism to access the medical care they need, covering transport to clinics and hospitals, medicines, and treatments. People with albinism produce no melanin, the body's natural protection against ultraviolet radiation, making them up to 1,000 times more likely to develop skin cancer than the general population and placing them at serious risk without regular preventative care and early treatment.
By removing the financial barriers to medical care, we help prevent conditions that would otherwise go untreated — turning what could be a life-threatening illness into something manageable.
